Investigators in Ontario have charged a man with one charge of voyeurism after a report of a potential peeping Tom linked to what police are describing as a “change room at a shopping centre.”

Jeron Nithianantharajah, 30, is charged in relation to an investigation first reported by York Region Police in a press release Thursday morning.

According to authorities, the victim was in a “change room” last Friday at a “shopping centre” in “the area of Hoover Park Drive and Rougeview Avenue” when they observed a cell phone pointing at them from under the “change room” wall.

Police attended the scene and a suspect was taken into custody on a charge of voyeurism.

York Regional Police is releasing an image of the accused, as investigators believe there may be additional victims.

Anyone who believes they may be a victim is encouraged to speak to police.
